Sooo, my computer is still fubar, but Don offered to take the photos directly from my camera's memory card, and uploaded them to my IMGUR account. So here they finally are in no particular order... First up is Gerry's 1955 Beetle. This was once owned by Pat, the former owner of my Beryl Green '62. Gerry put his stamp on things with several modifications, but made them reversible fortunately... The detailing on this car is very nice. Next up is Terry's 1965 Beetle. It runs a healthy 2 litre engine that tears along the highway quite nicely... My own 1964 Ghia didn't see much action this year, but came out for the show. It is likely going to gain a deep sump soon, just debating on what capacity to get... It was nice to see David's 1971 original Ghia out for the day. This is an extremely original low mileage (@ 32,000 miles) auto-stick equipped VW. Very sweet. All original engine compartment. Pierre had his 1961 Beetle on display. Many commented on liking that unique colour. This was the last year for those "snowflake" tailights. Very cool looking but hard to see at night when six volts! My '62, which had a very busy summer' including trips to Victoria, Seattle, Comox, and many local trips... Continued...

Here is Tom's 1974 Westfalia. Tom is the only Victoria based VW enthusiast who is a regular contributor on this site. He provides us with lots of info on vintage VWs for sale. Darryl brought his 1973 Westfalia out to the show. He and his partner have camped a lot in this bus. A basic, but usable interior, Darryl is not afraid of bad weather camping. His decal business is doing well and has many varieties available. He also intends to give his bus some attention during the winter as well. And of course there is Big Blue, High Top Rob's signature vehicle. See his recent decal that Darryl made up for him? Now everybody will recognize Rob! Rob has been busy collecting a variety of cool badges for the front... This 1974 Westfalia belongs to Dennis, one of our long term customers. He has owned this bus forever it seems... Willow has been very busy, custom painting her much-loved 1972 bus. She owns an art store, and her bus will serve as a rolling advertisement when she is done. I am happy that the former "Ronald McDonald" look has been banished! Continued...

This is Tom's heavily modified '63 bus. He gets around too and has attended many shows with this eye-catching VW. Another '74 Westfalia. This one is owned by a German couple who are doing extensive travels in it. Hope they are having fun! This is Mark's 1957 Australian RHD bus. Very nice it is too, and very low geared! A nice tidy interior. I even got a ride in it later too! Mark is still mulling over his straight axle conversion... It was nice to see Brett's '63 bus from up island. Pretty sure I once did some work on this one a loooong time ago. Here is one you do not see too often. The naughty '66 that has disgraced itself by springing a BIG oil leak. I intended this to be my nice weather daily driver this summer, but a cracked engine case put a stop to that . Contemplating repairing the original engine for this car that seized up years ago. We will see how that progresses... This is Sue's yellow 1971 Beetle. I meant to have a closer look later, but ended up BS'ing with too many people... Devin showed up in his New New Beetle with BRMs. I used to covet the Glacier Blue '58 he once owned... And here is something you don't see everyday. This is Jeff's ratty 1974 Thing. Jeff is a co-worker, who for a very long time said that a Thing was the only air-cooled VW that he really wanted to own. When Reagh contemplated selling his project Thing, I suggested to Jeff that he should buy it. So he did... The engine was seized up absolutely solid from sitting for decades. Jeff had lots of fun getting it apart. He really wanted to save it, as it was very likely the original engine for this surprisingly low mileage and original VW. It now runs great and he and his family are enjoying it a lot. Someday the bodywork will get done. So he says... Continued...

This Beetle showed up a bit later. It might be a 1963 that belongs to Ben? I may be very wrong about this... Here is my '72 Dorper Camper. This has not seen that much action this year either... My "Restfalia" Camper has seen a fair amount of use as usual. This is still my go to VW for day trips and out of town travelling. I don't think I will ever get tired of driving it... The usual '70's era accessories are present... As usual, Goldberg's owner puts on quite the display. Note his "power-pod" trailer. Eventually his bus will be painted to match... And there is the fuzzball himself, a master of his VW domain... Brent's pod basically contains a bed only, but it does look very comfy in there. Brent's mini-bike gets a lot of attention too. Too bad he barely knows how to ride it... This is Angie's 1970 Canadian Custom Beetle. A long term local car, it now needs some TLC. It liked the show because it didn't really want to leave. A bit of carb fiddling allowed it to start, hopefully Angie made it home safely... And here is Tony's distinctive Hawaiian look Beetle. This '61 has been owned by him for awhile now and usually runs fine... And here is a shot of Tony adjusting his points before he drove home too. That 009 needs to go... Reagh brought his famous '68 Double Cab down to the show. On the back he displayed the raffle prizes, and the grand door prize up for grabs... Don and Laurie's shorty '65 split also had a load on board... All the door prizes were displayed here. Look at all that good loot! Continued...

Another shot of Tom (BusAddict's) bus. What is that hiding underneath? This cutie was tired and trying to find some piece and quiet. Sorry I didn't get the doggy's name, or the owner's either... This 1972 Westfalia belongs to Michelle (in the picture). This is the bus that is spotted across from my house at the sports field from time to time... Doug showed up later in the day with his 1969 Westfalia. Doug has had a lot of work done to this VW and it recently took him on a big trip throughout BC. Although looking largely original, that is actually a 1915 hiding in there. Goes fairly well too. It was nice to see Peter out in his 1964 Beetle. He has been using it extensively since its resurrection earlier this summer and is having fun driving it. He also met the previous owners at this show, who were very happy to see that it has survived all this time. And finally, there is Tony showing his happy face with his door prize and raffle prize. Nice work! Again thanks to all who made this event possible, and hope to see you again next year!!!

This Beetle showed up a bit later. It might be a 1963 that belongs to Ben? I may be very wrong about this... I think you are wrong....I believe it belongs to Brett...or Ottobus, on here Nice clean looking Beetle, wish I had had some time to get a closer look. PS I see my 1970 SC didn't rate as pic worthy, eh Russ?
