Got my bench seat in, electrical upgrade and everything snugged up. Looks good and lookin fwd to camping. Having company the next couple weekends, then we have May Long. I really want to be camping by then. The following weekend is the VVWC spring camp out at Lake Cow. Sounds like a great way to start off the year!
as for hole in floor for cabinet, I copied hole that was in under sided pressed board. The top thin wood/carpet may have a smaller hole, but when I measured out from cooler, cabinet should cover hole no problem. One mistake I did make was following floor line under passenger seat. Figure I may chalk it or something. We'll see
ps: no pics, as I hate putting Tony to all that work to see them.

today I decided to build some speaker boxes for the front of the van, as it use to have door speakers. A friend invited me to use his hobby shop so I took advantage of it. The speakers are almost finished, just waiting for paint to dry, but Ive also been wanting to put little separators in my utensil drawer and in the cupboards for plates, etc. I used old oak floor strips, salvaged out of an old house in Harewwod

Here's a pic of those speaker boxes I built. Dunno where I'm gonna put them yet, thinkin Velcro might hold them on the floor near the heat up pipe, or it was suggested possibly hanging from dash or build one of those shelves

Mr. Brent, do you have a close up of one of those clips uninstalled? Looking for some of those in chrome if possible.

So, my signals broke, and I had to order a new one from .... Wait for it, wait for it ..... Cip1 Well, I guess I ordered the wrong one. Didn't seem to seethere was two different ones. I ordered the cheaper one which didn't have the proper length wire holders. After a bit of crying and whining and trying to figure out how to return it, I thought I would try to rewire it with the longer wire holders. This is what I did

Looks good from here. Did it work? After a week I am still waiting for CIP1 to acknowledge my return of those crappy looking senders. If you can make it work, more power to ya !
