It does take more time, but then if people didn't post then the website wouldn't exist. I visit pretty much daily to see what's going on. I know that I haven't been around much lately, but I do enjoy catching up on what everyone is working on and learning from Russ' tutorials. His IMGUR tutorial is well done and easy to follow.

Allo again everyone, have been away for a while and notice my intro spiraled into something a wee bit dark and divisive. Thanks to Brent for picking up the photos. Look forward to sharing the photos of the upholstery with Westphalia orange “tartan” inserts from SewFine. I can’t recommend these guys enough. Enjoying a beer at Schiphol airport, obviously a Heini as I join in the discussion. Look forward to sharing more with this and any other group that will have me. Usually I fit in where standards are low.
One final bit before I sign off. Went to visit the EV West guys a few weeks ago in California. Whoa, folks down there must crap money given what I saw in the shop. EV 911rsr, 356, Unimog. The coolest though was a baja bug with dual motors. Stacked one above the other. Obviously you need over 300 lb/ft of torque. How else would you enjoy swapping out transaxels every other time you take it out. They pray that the rear wheels don’t hook up.
On the merits of FB, posting boards or any other form of social media I can’t offer much as I’m old fashion. Such a Luddite I even met my wife in a bar.
Cheers, Marv

Me again. If you’re curious about Luddites please let me know as I can lend you a book on the 19th century movement. Also, my failing eyesight isn’t ideal when writing my replies on an I-telephone so please don’t judge my grammar and spelling to harshly. Hey, I even misspelled my own name!
Ciao again. Marc

I've read quite a bit about Ben, beginning to understand he wasn't directly against machinery, but he was against how it was being used to down trod on the workers. A true blue union boy was he. BTW what did he name his hammer. I knew once but ...... Stan

Marc Glad to see you back Marc. Even though it may have seemed like a torrent of judgement regarding posting here vs. Facebook, it was not meant as such by anyone, I can assure you. We just wanted to see and hear about your project after telling us you were doing it because we are interested in it And if there is something we really don't care about is spelling and grammar! I have been to Schiphol Airport twice(i.e. one trip). According to my wife who was just there herself, it has doubled in size since we were there together. I think a couple of drinks stronger than a Heini would be in order for me to make it thru now, lol!
