Well the previous owner wanted to "throw out" the whole bus...and now this little oops! I think this bus has an obvious nickname

Well the first start up didnt go so good, after putting on a weber progressive carb and a brand new empi fuel pump, Reagh turned the key to get the pump primed but nothin aaarrrggg. so I broke out the test light and started probing the fuse box and found power to it, after scatching my head I looked up under the ignition swtch and low and behold its disconected haha. Back to priming the pump and crap its leaking badly from the body not the fittings, ok change pump. Second pump worked for a bit and then seemed to lose power and was unable to pump enough fuel but before this the engine was reving very fast at idle with all settings normal. Third pump on and working fine but... it would start but die quickly after so I am guessing excelerator pump because it ran if I dumped fuel in. OK put on a Holly bug spray and it started right away but way to fast and then realized the pump was to strong and pushing gas out of the bowl down the carb, so a pressure reg is next and take it from there. Murphy was working overtime with us today. The good news Brian has a muffler for us that we are picking up tomorrow

Aren't aftermarket parts fun? You might have a float or needle and seat issue as well if flooding continues... You just know I like injection better...

Well this a test for seeing if I have figured out imgur on my new computer hahaha After 3 carbs, 3 pumps, new manifold gaskets and carb manifold gasket and figuring out that the dizzy is 180 degree's out she is running. I took a couple video's but they are to big to post so I will try again tomorrow to take one small enough to post

Knew you would get to the bottom of it. When linking your IMGUR pictures to the site, select "huge thumbnail" for the biggest pictures...

I started the brakes today I started with the front, I had some trouble with one of the bolts but after Ray hit it a bunch of times with a hammer it finaly broke free. I rebuilt the caliper, cleaned it up some and put in near new pads. Also shinned up the rotors with some 220 grit. The other side tomorrow !!!
