Maybe this guy has some Corvair promos in his stash. Hmmm.... Sounds like he was a Ford guy....so probably not

Sooo, I couldn't resist any longer. I paid a visit to Coombs, to the guy selling the built model cars. And came back with a few items... I have always liked early Rivieras, and got my hands on this sweet '65 Buick with real wire wheels. Love it! The builder, Paul, even took the time to paint the woodgrain and chrome accents in the interior. Neat!

My second favourite was this very nice '40 Ford coupe. Note it uses the '40 Standard grill, which I quite like. Nice detailing on the Flahead as well...

One of my earlier models I built was a '50 Ford, just like this. Except mine was not as nice... This one features some cool weathering underneath as well. Also got this '34 Ford, as it came with one of the other cars I bought. Again nicely done. My Dad would have approved of this for sure.

And finally, this is not one of the models I bought. Dad built this over 60 years ago, and it has always been my favourite. A first edition AMT '40 Ford, it is still in minty condition to this day. Going to take pics of the rest of Dad's models fleet, and no, there are no VW's at all in his collection...

And I should mention to Clay, that he had a pretty sweet 442 Cutlass for sale as well...

Oh, you just had to go and say that, didn't you? No photo? :-(
I'm assuming these are 1:25th scale plastic kits...how much is he charging for each one?
I do have several Olds 442/Cutlass kits on the shelf and need to clear some space to start building again. Perhaps once the project car is done.

Ah man, he lost me on the trunk stripes. Chevelle, yes. Cutlass, hell NO!
