That's what I'm worried about. That jump seat was perfect in my memory

looks like a good score that little flip up table was probably worth what you paid for the whole lot

Road tripped to Vic today ... Awesome Brent, can't wait to see the "new" bus in person. Now I have to get back to work on mine

that little flip up table I had many a good lunch around a table like that camping as a kid. When they were located on the Split Bus doors they were more out of the way, but even with the slider they are super useful. Definitely looking like a real early camper now Brent. If you want jalousie's LMK.

Seems like everything looks good, but there's definitely a bunch of work needed. The frontal plate on the side cabinet isn't attached, nor is the back rest on the couch, and we're wondering if I might have two bottoms. Also the fridge guts are missing, as well as the water tank. It does look like it has all the plumbing asit came in a box, along with a gas heater. Who knows what else, as I haven't unloaded it all yet. I will say though, the drivers seat is FANTASTIC!

Seriously though, in the pics it looks like you might indeed have two seat bottoms, as I don't *think* they ever sat up that high. But maybe the hardware will be able to "tell" you. Here is a pic of the black 70's seat(bed) if it helps…

Upon further investigation, I'm thinking those smart Germans made them the same size. The z bed mechanisms weren't properly adjusted and when I corrected them and put padded sections in place, they look fine. Mind you, they're in my living room now ....

Still having warm up issues. On the road it trucked along great. Goldberg wasn't too happy, as it's a bit louder than the green bus. Found out that 70 mph isn't really 100kmh, but actually 80 kmh, lol. There's definitely a sweet spot between 70-75 mph, drove thru monsoon like weather, and it performed great. Hoping to install electronic ignition tomorrow, and maybe that will help out too. Need to find leaks so I can install interior .... I'm getting excited !!!!
ps: not sure about jalousies yet

Once I fixed up that engine it always just purred along and sounded so great, even out to Lake Cowichan many times. This…. …to this
