First off, it's a bus, not a van, lol Secondly, whenever a fuel injected bus coughs and farts, check all your vacuum hoses. Thirdly, I don't have a clue without a lil more info. We have a meeting tonight at Southgate Timmies. Come bug the crew and see what we can come up with Right....the bus, my mistake. I did check all the obvious vacuum lines that I just hooked up when putting the new booster on. It's weird, because it feels and sounds like the engine is just not turning over at all. The meeting is actually very intriguing, but I can't make it tonight.

I guess if you're not sure if the engine is turning over or not have someone watch the engine while you're cranking it

What he said ... Anyone with sight can watch and see if the pulley is turning while your cranking. You can also mark the pulley with tape/felt marker if no ones there to assist. I could pop out Friday if need be

I was about to take a video with my phone setup while I cranked....And now the ignition key does nothing when it is turned.

It might not be all your problems, but it sounds like you need a new battery before anything else. Any messing around with a battery is too much messing around. It seems like it's been an ongoing issue so it would be good to rule out. If it is charging to 12.1, that's not enough. New batteries are like new socks, just makes you feel good.
Have you had your spark plug leads off at any point? If so, are they back on in the right order and connected well?

So I tried the bus with a good working battery and still no dice. Reading through my Bentley manual, I really think I gotta start poking around the starter and doing some "tests"

I actually have a spare starter. Would the advice be to just swap them? Or try and troubleshoot the one that is on the van?

So what is it currently doing? No cranking, slow cranking? Or normal cranking and not firing???

New starter just in.....Key cranks but no fire. Have a strong spark. It doesn't sound the same as when I had the fuel issue. Hard to say, but it sounds like just the starter cranking over. I've cranked the engine by hand to try and see if maybe valves or something causing clanking issue, but sounding good with just a little resistance at about every 1/3 to 1/2 revolution.
Points?

Also, this thread sucks without pictures and videos. I'm working on it! I did record some video tonight, so I could share if it would help
